While the Regular fuel is an 87 Octane Fuel, the Premium fuels may range from 91 to 100 Octane. In Indian petrol pumps, 91 to 95 Octane fuel is easily available. According to a report by the Economic Times, Tata Motors has won the Indian army’s order for new SUVs. The government had shortlisted Tata's Safari Storme and Mahindra’s Scorpio more than three years ago after which both were put into testing. Both the Safari and the Scorpio passed rigorous technical trials by the army, which tested the vehicles in conditions such as high-altitude, snow, deserts and marshy land.
